    The Institut Supérieur des Sciences et Techniques du Bénin (ISST-BENIN) is a private Institution of Higher Education and Professional Technology.

    The overall objective of ISST-BENIN is to train middle Executives who can meet the needs of companies which, face to the increasing complexity of patterns of production and management, need specialists to guide them in their decision-making. More specifically, it will provide firms in Benin and in the sub-region with highly qualified Executives in the fields of management and technological sciences to make them better able to respond to the globalization of markets.

    Our country, le Benin, aspires to become in the coming years an emerging country. To achieve this goal, Conditions for a strong economy, a stable and dynamic environment must be created. In the absence of oil production or exploitation of a variety of minerals in our country the economy of   Benin can be turned into   a stong  knowledge-based economy.

    The training of executives technically competent in the areas of technology the most porters is a guarantee undeniable to achieve prosperity for all. It is the reason which founds the creation of the Institut Supérieur des Sciences et Techniques du Bénin (ISST-Benin).

    By choosing to create clusters of the technical sector and industrial alongside those of the tertiary sector, Mr. Sébastien AJAVON, a man of conviction and action, assert that these two inseparable poles that are technology and industrialization are able to be the basis of economic development.

    The ISST-Benin is therefore an establishment of a new type by its geographical situation, its potential infrastructural, its pedagogical team experienced outcome essentially of our public universities and the European universities and its modern training methods. Our ambition is to give young Beninese in particular and the African youth in general, the professionalized training that lays emphasis on knowledge, technical know-how indispensable for the development of our businesses.

    So we aim at training a new generation of men and women expected to build by means of their knowledge and expertise a new Benin in a new Africa. The links established with the national universities, foreign (Africa, America, Asia and Europe) and the partner companies are there to foster an excellent training and the opportunity participate in the rapid development of our country.
